Yvette van Boven (1968, born in Ireland from Dutch parents), divides her time between Amsterdam and Ireland. She is a food writer, chef, columnist and television presenter.

Yvette makes almost all of her books together with her husband, photographer Oof Verschuren.

They make distinctive work and are always looking for new ways to express their love for food and everything that goes with it. They use all different kinds of approach through photography, storytelling, illustrations, or, for example, with the many homemade fonts, that make their work always stand out and different.

Van Boven makes all the illustrations for her own work. She also takes care of the art direction and design of all their own projects.
